... as an employer

As an employer you may already have an apprentice in mind. Alternatively you may want Remit to help you find and assess an apprentice. If you haven't taken on an apprentice in the past 3 years you may be eligible for a government grant of £1500. Full details can be found here. Either way, to register for the scheme, or simply to find out more about how it will work for you, please email us on mail@fork-truck.org.uk or call on 01635 277 577.

... as an apprentice

If you are thinking about becoming a fork lift truck apprentice you should visit our Apprenticeships website, or contact Remit directly. As this is a new scheme you may find that the best way to make contact with Remit may change over the coming months - so be sure to check back here regularly! This will provide you with the most up to date information and the best contact details for Remit.

A wealth of experience

Created to deliver the highest quality training in a way that is convenient to both the apprentice and his/her employer, this flexible new programme is the result of close collaboration between three organisations – each a leader in its field.  This partnership provides the key (common) skills needed by every apprentice and the unrivalled technical expertise needed to underpin the practical work – the NVQ element of the programme.
