Awards 2009 - it's time to nominate!

Recognised nationally and internationally as the materials handling industry’s ultimate accolades for achievement, the FLTA Annual Awards for Excellence are presented in February each year at a lavish Oscars-style ceremony.

The aims of the Awards are:

  • to encourage those who work in the industry to strive for higher and higher standards;
  • to draw the attention of fork lift truck users to the best products and services;
  • to present our industry in the best possible light to the wider community.
With memories of the Awards 2008 event still vivid, it’s already time to start making nominations for Awards 2009 – and nominating could hardly be simpler…

Just click on How to nominate and you’ll see there’s very little to it.

Do you have an excellent new product or service that you would like people to know about? Well nominate it! Many of the finalists in recent years have been nominated by themselves and we strongly encourage you to do the same.

You can nominate it in one or more of the four key product or service categories – Safety, Environment, Ergonomics and Innovation. There are also several other Awards for which you might like to nominate your company or your colleagues.

Winners will receive one of our fabulous bronze ‘Archie’ statuettes – and the tremendous prestige that goes with it. But bear in mind that having your product or service nomination accepted will make you an FLTA Awards finalist – and being an FLTA Awards finalist carries a lot of kudos in itself. All finalists are entitled to use an FLTA Awards finalist logo, which we provide, and will enjoy a lot of positive exposure through the year-long publicity that surrounds the Awards.

To be eligible,  your new product or service must have been launched within the period from 1st October 2007 to 30th September 2008.

You have until 30th September 2008 to make your nominations.

Good luck and get nominating!
