FLTA Awards 2010 Review
FLTA Awards 2010 - A Touch of Class
|
The FLTA Awards for Excellence 2010 was a true night to remember.
The Awards were presented on Saturday 27th February, in a glittering ceremony attended by the industry’s most accomplished movers and shakers.
In front of a capacity crowd, awards were presented across 11 categories, rewarding achievements the length and breadth of the materials handling world, from apprentices to lifetime achievers. See the full list of winners here.
The presentation of the Awards themselves brought up a variety of people to the stage - some old friends, and some new faces.

Among those returning to the Awards was Kevin Lofting, who scooped the highest honour that the materials handling industry can give: the Lifetime Achievement Award.
Following the presentation of 3 certificates and 8 Archies, guests were treated to a five-course meal.

The entertainment took a host of different forms, with comedy served up by Mervyn Stutter, music delivered by Carla Hendriks and the Ken Morgon Quintet and casino tables where one lucky guest excelled himself, taking home the £100 prize.
The bar was hosted by the inimitable Lola and her boys, who took no nonsense but ensured complete comfort. There are only rumours about whether anybody was subject to her now-infamous 'Thorough Examination'... |
Overall, the night was a great success, and we at the Association hope that you had as good a time as we did. We look forward to seeing you at the Awards 2011.
