FLTA Courses at the Bermuda Park Innovation Centre

Unless otherwise indicated all FLTA courses take place at the Bermuda Park Innovation Centre in Bedworth, near Nuneaton.

Timings
Course registration is at 8.45 a.m. All courses start at 9.00 a.m. prompt and will usually finish by 5.30 p.m. each day. Those attending courses should be aware that roads in the area, including the M6, are very busy during the rush hour. It is recommended that they plan to arrive by 8.00 a.m. or book accommodation for the night before the course.

Documentation
All engineers attending must bring with them two current passport size photographs. This is to facilitate the completion of the registration card. This requirement applies even if the engineer already has a card from a previous course.

All engineers attending a Thorough Examination course must be certified in advance by senior representatives of their company. Details of this requirement and a copy of the form are available here  

Dress
Dress for all courses, other than Thorough Examination courses, is casual dress, suitable for a classroom/laboratory. Engineers attending a Thorough Examination course require boots and overalls for the workshop activities.

Refreshments
There is a cafeteria on site where refreshments and light meals, including breakfast, can be purchased. Delegates attending the Thorough Examination Managers course are provided with refreshments and lunch in their training room to allow for programme flexibility and informal discussion. The cost of this is included in the course price.

In the event of a travel delay engineers/delegates should contact the centre direct on this number, providing the title of their course and their expected arrival time.

Accommodation
Accommodation in the immediate area books up quickly. It is recommended that reservations are made as soon as the course booking is confirmed. Bookings must be made direct with the establishment concerned.
